Award-winning production leader crafting human, visually driven storytelling across sports, entertainment, and culture.

I’m Kassidy Iwashita — a creative leader and Director of Production for the Golden State Warriors. My work has earned 42 Regional Emmy nominations and 16 wins, recognition that reflects my passion for storytelling and my commitment to creative excellence.

I’ve spent the last decade shaping some of the most innovative storytelling in sports and entertainment, leading end-to-end creative strategy, production, and execution for global campaigns. I started my career as an intern and learned the industry from the ground up — from operating cameras and editing timelines to directing talent, managing multimillion-dollar budgets, and building high-performing creative teams.

Today, I oversee a team of six producers and videographers, partner with athletes, celebrities, and top brands, and bring complex ideas to life across social, digital, and broadcast platforms. At the center of my work is a love for storytelling — creating visuals and narratives that feel intentional, human, and built to resonate.

Long-form video has proven highly effective for engaging audiences and fostering deeper connections with fans. Recognizing its value, we are investing in creating more long-form content to tell richer stories while maximizing both engagement and monetization.

38 Feet Deep is a longform feature created to mark the 10-year anniversary of Stephen Curry’s legendary 38-foot game-winner against the Oklahoma City Thunder — a moment many consider the greatest regular-season game in NBA history. The piece revisits the electricity of that night: the build-up, the atmosphere, and the iconic “double-bang” call that has lived on in basketball culture.

Our team approached this project with a storytelling-first mindset, blending archival footage, original interviews, and immersive editing to recreate the emotion fans felt in real time. The goal was not only to honor an unforgettable sports moment but to demonstrate how thoughtfully crafted long-form content can deepen fan loyalty and drive meaningful watch-time.

Video has garnered over 500k in the first 72 hours.

My Role:

I produce highly engaging video content designed to perform across multiple platforms. My approach focuses on creating long-form videos optimized for YouTube, while simultaneously structuring them so they can be clipped into short, snackable moments for TikTok and Instagram. This allows content to reach audiences where they are, maximizing engagement and shareability without losing the integrity of the original story.
